Early shift means the whole floor still sleeps while I'm already awake and in one of my moods. Packed this little set for the ones who like watching me peel out of something sheer, layer by layer, until there's nothing left to hide behind. Come unlock the rest of it with me?
Lunch break on the mezzanine and the whole lobby is down there arguing about boot fittings. Nobody ever looks up — that's quietly my favourite part of this floor. Should I stay a little longer?
The lodge is so empty between seasons that nobody would ever know I turned the ballroom into my morning studio. The leotard lost its argument with my shoulder somewhere around the second stretch. Come warm up with me?

The Halloween crate came up from storage and I'm testing the cat ears before my afternoon rounds. Would you open your door to this?
The corridor's already loud with team bags and my shift doesn't start for another hour. I'm not wasting a single minute of it. Care to guess what I'm thinking about?

Race day is finally here and the whole valley is still dark, but the floodlights on the glacier are already burning. Somebody has to make the first pot of coffee for the early crew, and apparently it's me. Pull up a stool?
Every team jacket in the lobby today and the women's race kicks off up the glacier tomorrow, so I'm not walking out to that finish fence looking like I just made forty beds. Be honest before I head down — does this face pass?
