Found a set from a night I had a whole jet to myself — red lace, red stockings, and not one ounce of good behaviour anywhere on board. Jesus, some memories are far too good to keep hidden. Think you can handle every second of it, honey?
Squeezed in a mat class before Swervedriver at Whelan's tonight and my legs are already trembling — and the playlist has nothing to do with it. Come hold my coat at the doors, sweetie.
Kettle's on before the sun and Dexys at the 3Olympia tonight is already living rent-free in my head — no chance I'm going back to sleep now. Come keep me company till it's light, honey.
Ears still ringing from last night and Papa Roach has the 3Arena tonight — two arena nights back to back and my body is somehow voting yes. Still coming with me or talking me into bed instead, sweetie?
Korn at the 3Arena tonight and I've had the volume up since I got out of bed — the wardrobe still hasn't produced anything black enough for a wall of sound like that. Are you in the pit beside me or keeping me home like this, honey?
Stevie Wonder has the whole 3Arena on its feet and I'm swaying at the bar rail with my champagne going nowhere near as slow as it should. Tell me, honey — are you dancing me home after the last song or keeping me here till the lights come up?
All Saints' Day and I gave behaving a genuine go for about ten minutes — the shirt was as far as it got. Tell me, honey — are you forgiving me or joining in?
Halloween night and I still can't pick — Kerbdog at the 3Olympia or the orchestra doing A Little Fright Music, and neither of my outfits has won the argument yet. Come over and decide for me, sweetie.
Dublin's already gone full Samhain and my taxi driver keeps checking his mirror — the costume's not even zipped yet and tomorrow night is still a whole day away. Tell me, honey — are you riding shotgun or waiting at mine?
Dublin's been dripping with ghosts and gothic nights and I brought every bit of that darkness home with me. Tell me, honey — are you keeping me company or leaving me to my own hands?
Just landed from an overnight charter and I haven't even unpacked — coffee in hand, blouse giving up, and The Strokes at the 3Arena tonight standing between me and my bed. Tell me, honey — are you at the doors with me or dragging me home after the encore?
